The mission of the Department of English Language and Literature at the College
of Science and Humanities in Al-Aflaj is to prepare highly qualified graduates with
outstanding language skills in order to meet the market’s needs and participate in
community service and scientific research.
1. Providing students with the basic language skills that help them promote their personal, academic and professional capabilities in the fields of linguistics, literature and translation.
2. Qualifying cadres to participate in the community services and scientific research.
3. Developing the interpersonal skills that enable students to interact communicatively, ethically, and work in a team.
