Management is an established subject in the Social Sciences providing both coherent overviews and intellectual challenges to the analysis of business. Management department of CBAK was started in year 2009, a year after the start of the College of Business Administration. The department aims at developing the understanding of the essence and complexities of modern day business and provides with the theoretical foundations for managing business.
The department focuses basically on four things, first, developing the numeracy and analyzing skills of the students with the aim to equip the students with decision making tools required in modern day businesses; second, develop understanding of the basics of the business world and introducing fundamental concepts, theories and practices of management; third, on strategic management issues in the context of globalization and its impact on international business; and lastly on advanced specialization courses which are beneficial not only for managers but also for entrepreneurs interested in doing their own business. Moreover, irrespective of the specialization one chooses (be it Accounting, Finance, HR or MIS) the students of College of Business Administration would be exposed to over eight course delivered by the Management Department, as these are college requirement courses.
In addition to above we not only emphasize on teaching but also on the learning process and mentoring. More so, the department has a mix of senior and new faculties who have besides teaching students have a strong research orientation, with good publication record in indexed journals
