The department of Business Administration seeks to prepare cadres able to compete in the labor's market and serve community through providing effective educational and research programs.
First: the objectives related to the educational process
1. Developing students' managerial skills through applying a theoretical and practical approaches of management functions (planning, leadership, direction, organization) and modern management applications, this theoretical framework and sound educational methodology.
2. Raise students' abilities to understand the institution of productivity and the forces acting on trends, policies, and objectives. At the same time to train students on leadership, especially in the field of personnel management.
3. Develop students' skills to learn the concepts, techniques, and practice new management applications to be able to transfer acquired knowledge to practice in the labor market.
4. Encourage interaction between the Administration and other professional institutions so that students have opportunities for training and development and field research.
Second: goals for faculty members:
1. Providing the right climate and the necessary facilities to enable faculty members to increase their capabilities and develop their academic skills that include activation energies in the service of self-education process to ensure the quality of education output to keep pace with the needs of the labor market.
2. Encourage faculty members to contribute effectively to the development of knowledge management through participation in research and academic studies.
3. Exploitation and investment disciplines faculty members, and their professional experience and academic compatible with the strategic objectives of the Salman bin Abdul Aziz University. And encourage them to help resolve administrative problems and economic and social development according to their respective fields.
4. Contribute to enable faculty members to develop their education in order to promote quality standards and insurance requirements of the competition.
5. Link faculty members of the department facilities business through research or consulting projects which are complementary to their academic work.
Strategic goals:
• provide students with the knowledge, skills, competencies and capabilities necessary to prepare them as leaders and managers a high degree of efficiency.
