"The department provides accounting students with the highest level of accounting techniques and preparing them in a manner that help them to be excellent in the accounting field in order to compete in the labor market by attracting qualified faculty members and optimizing the available resources and information technology."
In order to achieve the vision and mission of the department, the following objectives are set in the accounting department:
- Providing national cadres in the accounting field that contribute directly in the development of KSA.
- Providing qualified and distinguished accountants with the ability to successfully compete in the local and regional labor market.
- Raising the capability of accounting students and training them in the financial and accounting field.
- Developing student skills through financial and accounting information technology and practices.
- Meeting the standards requirements of the National Commission for Academic Assessment and Accreditation.
- Enhance the quality of financial and accounting performance by adhering to the ethical rules of the accounting profession.
- Encouraging faculty members and students in the accounting department to sound scientific publishing.
