His Excellency the Dean of the College of Science and Humanities in Al-Aflaj, Dr. Muhammad Hathal Al-Dossary, and His Excellency the Head of the Department of Business Administration, Dr. Badr bin Nasser Al-Ghayathat, received the Program Accreditation Certificate for the Financial Management Program from the (ACBSP) Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs at the annual conference that was held from the June 29th to July 1rst/2023 in Chicago, USA.
Obtaining this American academic accreditation by the Financial Management Program enhances its local and international standing, as this accreditation indicates the high level of quality in the program and the college, which in turn contributes to raising confidence in its outputs to comply with the requirements of the labor market, and this is also reflected in the reputation of the college and its position among Local and foreign bodies and relevant authorities.
His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad bin Hazal Al-Dosari and His Excellency the Head of the Department of Business Administration, praised the unlimited support that higher education institutions in the Kingdom receive from the position of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince, which had a great impact on obtaining international accreditations and strengthening the status of Saudi universities regionally and internationally.
The Dean also confirmed that the computer and English language programs are about to obtain program accreditation in the near future after the academic departments fulfilled the its requirements. In a related context, His Excellency confirmed that the accounting program has begun the procedures for obtaining the national program accreditation.
He also considered that obtaining all these accreditatiins for selected college’s programs that are compatible with the approaches of the university and the ministry seeking to improve the university’s outputs with specializations that serve the labor market, including computer and technical specializations, business and management specializations, will enhance the status of the college regionally and internationally and serve this approach.
