Vision:
Saudi Arabia's ambitious vision 2030: 'The Kingdom seeks to ensure that higher education outcomes are aligned with the requirements of the labour market, partner with those who provide training to graduates locally and internationally and enhance training and qualification opportunities', as the Graduate Unit seeks at the Faculty of Science and Humanities in Al-Afalaj.
Mission:
Qualifying competitive graduates in the labour market, by providing an education that conforms to international standards, an academic and research environment with outstanding human resources, an effective community partnership, and a supportive management system.
Goals:
1- Develop the skills and competencies of graduates and students and develop their personal qualities necessary to compete in the labor market.
2- Assist graduates in building up their skills and abilities to increase their competitive opportunities in the labour market.
3- Assist graduates in seeking opportunities for employment, vocational training and pursuing their training and career paths.
4- Developing partnerships with the labour market and attempting to provide employment opportunities and vocational training.
5- Develop the abilities of expected graduates and graduates to pass professional and standard tests.
6- Effective and continuous communication with graduates, employment and vocational training.
7- Providing data, statistics and analyzing the necessary questionnaires for graduates and employment destinations.
8- Organizing graduation projects and linking them to the labour market.
Functions and Duties:
1- Preparation and implementation of training activities and activities for graduates and their ability and skills to compete in the labour market.
2- Providing vocational training and employment opportunities for students and graduates by communicating directly with government and private entities.
3- Providing means of communication and continuous interaction with college graduates.
4- Introducing graduates to professional data and tests in their fields of specialization.
5- Introduce students to different electronic methods and platforms to seek training and employment opportunities.
6- Providing the necessary data and statistics on graduates, especially with regard to employment ratios.
7- Setting up and analysing the necessary resolution, as well as exploring the views of graduates and recruitment.
8- Preparation of reports on the alumni unit and documentation of events and activities.
9- Measuring student and graduate satisfaction with the events and activities of the Unit.
10- Create a website for the Unit to disseminate information and news about the Unit.
11- The Secretary of the Unit shall retain the data, information and minutes of the meetings of the Committee to communicate with the Unit.

- Preparing the graduate students to be engaged in the labor market through different training courses in different fields.
- Helping the graduate students to get jobs that are convenient within the domains of their fields of specialization.
- Helping the companies and institutions that seek employees to reach the graduates easily.
- Building a database of the College's graduate students.
- Communicating with the graduate students through the different means of communication to promote the students’ relationship with their university.
- Marketing students' research.
- Helping new students in choosing their specialization and graduates in getting an appropriate job.
