Since ancient times, man knew mathematics and used it, where he knew counting, dealing with it and benefiting from it. Then, he developed to use some arithmetic operations. After that Euclid put his famous postulates to study the geometry which is named by Euclidean geometry. Although the methods of proof that he used proved is not perfect as he relied on the geometrical proof which is different regarding the mathematical proof that we know today, but what he did had an eternal effect on mathematics, as his method became the approved method for studying any branch of mathematics. The results in this branch are from its postulates that cannot be proven, but they are clear and understandable. An example is the Peano Axioms for defining the natural numbers in a mathematical style, the axioms of ZFC in set theory, where these abbreviations mean (Zermelo–Fraenkel set theory with the axiom of choice), the axioms of real numbers, and others. After that, mathematics and its curriculum became an endeavor for all sciences, as all sciences seek to redefine themselves in a mathematical way based on hypotheses and theories that give results consistent with what those sciences offer on the ground. Mathematics has become the language that is indispensable for any science. Mathematically, because without this method, what you propose becomes your own philosophy that no one recognizes ,, Since mathematics is the only philosophy that everyone agrees on without exception, regardless of time and place. If we say 3 <1 then this sentence is healthy for me and for you and for anyone, whether in America, Antarctica or China, and it was healthy for the Pharaohs, Babylonians and Romans, and it will remain true After a thousand years. This is the mathematics that we seek to teach to our students in the Mathematics Department of the College of Science and Human Studies in Aflaj.
The Department of Mathematics at the College of Science and Humanities in Aflaj, affiliated to Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, was established in 1431/1432 H. It offers a variety of materials that help prepare students to complete their studies and engage in the labor market. The department’s graduates can work in different fields such as teaching for the preparatory and secondary stages and working in banks and various companies. They can be research and teaching assistants, teaching assistants, or they may continue their studies to become lecturers or faculty members.
